Why Language?
Why Language?
Everything you know, you know in language.
Even your “gut” only becomes available through language—when you notice it, name it, and act on it. You can have ineffable moments, but to understand, describe, or share them, you use language.
Language is more than a tool for delivery; it is the structure your experience lives within.
Being human is being in language. That is how we navigate work, love, conflict, and meaning every day.
It also keeps us stuck—angry at betrayal, guilty about the past, certain nothing will change, certain others “are just like that,” certain you should be different “if only…” When language hardens, it becomes a cage.
The way out is not positive thinking. It is a new relationship with language itself.
Notice the Automatic that shows up.
Return to Experiencing (what is actually here—body, breath, present facts).
Then Choose—cleanly, in words and actions that align.
Language is a cage—until it becomes your compass.
Do not live in language anymore.
Live through it.
